This is such a lovely Gem! Great food selection. The coffee was ok but the atmosphere more than makes up for it. We ordered the Chia fruit bowl and it didn't disappoint.

Romo's Cafe is one of my favorite spots in Hayward. Walking into this cafe feels like stepping into my grandmother's kitchen. The staff at Romo's are always incredibly accommodating and welcoming. The cafe offers a wide variety of delicious homemade food options, and we're never disappointed with our choices. The coffee and smoothie options are excellent complements to any meal. This time, I opted for the chia bowl and a strawberry smoothie, which were perfect for combating the day's heat. The cafe has limited indoor seating but boasts a large outdoor space in the back with plenty of seating. Romo's s adorned with unique and neat decorations that reflect Latin culture, adding a homely feel to the place. I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking to relax with a delicious cup of coffee or enjoy a tasty bite to eat.

The absolute cutest little neighborhood café ran by the sweetest ladies. As soon as you walk in to the cafe, it's vibrantly decorated everywhere with a couple of seats but go past the kitchen into their large, gorgeous outdoor patio for additional seating. This is where I ate my avocado toast and sipped on my Cafe de Olla and it was so lovely and delicious. One of the ladies even came by to give me a sample of their chia seed pudding since my food was taking a little long. This place is a must try!

A hidden hole in the wall in the heart of Hayward. It is a woman owned coffee shop just right on A street. It definitely does not look like there would be a nice cafe here, but when you get inside it makes more sense. It is run by a family and they serve lots of beverage options as well as some breakfast / lunch menu items. The menu items are very simple and a lot of these you can make at home, but it tastes really simple, good, and made with lots of detail and care. The family is also very friendly. You get to dine outside in their backyard patio area and it's a really quaint ambiance.

I can't believe I didn't know about this place until I drove there for myself... like honestly it's PERFECT location for all the occasions. They share space with the barbería next door, but it feels like a community to me.... This is a local gem in Hayward that you definitely do not want to miss! It's located right next to Arteaga's, serving Mexican delights and drinks. I got their cafe de olla and it is HONESTLY to die for -- very medicinal, dark roasted, and made with lots of love. The owners and the servers are bilingual and are VERY friendly -- so if you need to get away look no further than Romo's!

I love this place! I bought a to go iced mocha with oatmilk. Super delicious. The espresso shots are on point and the mocha isn't too sweet, just perfect. The food menu is displayed big and so many options to choose from. I've tried some of the sandwiches from The Romos Cafe in Oakland. Owner said she did own that location but sold it. I love both of the cafes. I love the Mexican authenticity in the cafe. I love the art work through the cafe. Plus is having a back patio to have a brunch on a nice day. The patio is cute and cozy with lots of beautiful plants. I LOVE THIS CAFE!

I've seen people raving about this cafe and I had to try it on V-day with my bestie! We were warmly greeted by the staff as we walked in and ordered at the kiosk. Their menu had a good variety and it seemed like a fusion type of breakfast/brunch/coffee vibe. I was craving a crepe. I was impressed, it was perfect sizing & had a crispy consistency. The iced chai was delicious and a good size, look how cute the cup was!!! Omg everything in this cafe is amazingly decorated with a home style reminiscent feeling. The outdoor dining area, which I should've pictured is a nice spot for studying or getting work done. It's right on A st next to the market, so you could miss it. There's parking by the barber shop. I will definitely come again to try more on the menu :)
